Most of McGillicuddy's commissions are shot on location in difficult circumstances with only the slimmest "Window" of opportunity... this means his equipment has to be perfect, giving the highest quality of light when and where it is needed, first time and every time.
It's no secret that McGillicuddy favours portable flash from speedlight upto Quantum Q flash, often portability and weight being the key. Sadly the range of modifiers necessary to give the highest degree of control and shaping to the light just didn't exist, so he did something about it and designed his own!
They have to shape the light as intended but build quality, portability and the ability to be stripped down and pack away to a minimum are all key features. That achieved we are proud to present the first releases in the DMLS range.
