PHOTOBOOKS
Photo books are a wonderful way to display your images. They come with hard or soft covers and can have matt, lustre or gloss heat sealed covers for protection. Albums and PhotoBooks are produced using real photographic paper to show your pictures at their highest quality in a lustre or gloss finish.
Photo Books and Albums come in the following sizes -

All sizes are approximate, albums are normally 5-10mm smaller than quoted sizes to allow for final trimming of pages
Hard Back Covers
A Hard Back Cover, gives your book a solid and professional feel. The Cover is heat sealed to protect the picture in matt, lustre or gloss finish. The Photographic pages in the album come in lustre or gloss finish.
Soft Back Covers
A Soft Back Cover, gives your book a light magazine type feel. The cover can be the same lustre or gloss finish as the inside album pages or can be heat sealed in matt lustre or gloss finish for extra protection.
NOTES ABOUT PHOTO BOOKS and ALBUMS.
- Please allow 5mm of the image on each side for cutting of final album pages.
- Please design album to the largest size eg-12x12 for square album or 12x9.6 for upright or view. This allows you to print all album sizes rather than designing a small album and then having to re design the whole album if you want a bigger copy. the 12.9.6 will crop without any image loss to the smaller sizes.
- Soft cover Books have no image loss when you are designing album cover.
- 12x12 hard cover PhotoBooks will have image loss from the image wrap around the cover. Digital Albums have a cover so this does not apply.
- 5x5 hard cover Photobooks will have the greatest image loss as the image is wrapped around the cover.
Initially, unflattened PSD file format images written to CD are preferred, although flattened JPEGs are acceptable. An FTP facility is due to be launched shortly.
Please number images in print order.
